Edward had always been a personal favorite of mine, and the costume was something I had always wanted to make.

I initially had planned to make this during the "summer of Sauron", but because that costume took so long to make, this got pushed back until the following spring.

Along with Don Juan, this costume gave me an excuse to grow my hair out. The original set of pictures feature me wearing a wig. For this costume, I don't feel that it is possible for a wig to do any justice.

The entire costume really only took a couple weeks to complete. The scissors were rather simple to fabricate, as was the leather suit. I really enjoyed all of the leather hand stitching, and seeing the whole thing come together.

A possible future upgrade might be to make a new set of hands, entirely of welded aluminum pieces.
